Part 1: The theatrical role of strike off names, countersign, semiotics and symbols in building brand right
Abstract
Introduction to the topic

In this opus I am going to explore the role of brand names, discussion, semiotics and symbols in building brand equity. And in particular, attempt to serve well the question do the brand elements add to the value of the brand, or do they simply represent the value of the brand?

This paper discusses the role of identifiers in branding and assesses the contribution they make. The literature reviewed suggests that the role of identifiers not only reflects the brand values, but it can as well add to the value of a brand identifies the brand as well.

Could a brand be in the consumer’s foreland if it was without any identification? As this is a moot capitulum I will explore what these identifiers bring to the consumer, is it always a positive association, and is it always memorable? There are some schools of thought that have contributed to this topic, and this paper will bring a range of these contributions together.

This paper will explore brand equity; what is it, and why it is important. Martensen tells us that the brand equity has been measured as ‘a brands mental equity: the associations, evaluations and relationships customers have toward the brand.’ (Martensen et al).

That association is in the first place reflected in the visualisation of the brand, and visualisation these days can besides be represented in other senses such as auditory, touch and smell.

The paper then looks at the identifiers: how names and logos create a message or an identity, and the role of symbols and semiotics, how they are different from logos and what they add to a brand. And addresses the impact of heritage, everywhere time the brand acquires a life and a value of its own e.g. does the Nike swoosh enhance and add value to the Nike brand or does it reflect the Nike brand ?

We will see in the literature that there are some rules governing names, logos and symbols...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
