The organization and workplace that I have chosen is Harvey Norman, determined in Manly Vale. Harvey Norman is a large retailer of electrical, computer, furniture and bedding goods based in Australia.
It is effectively a franchise and the main brand owned by Harvey Norman H emeritusings Ltd. Currently there be more than 160 Harvey Norman Stores in Australia, New Zealand, Slovenia, Republic of Ireland, Malaysia and Singapore. Harvey Norman Holdings Ltd control some other Australian retail chains such as Domayne, blank furniture, Ariston Appliances and Joyce Mayne.
At the Manly vale livestock there are over 35 employees including a regional manager, store manager, henchman store manager and section manager.
Potential Hazards
1.Lifting heavy items whilst use wild lifting techniques and repetitive lifting.
Associated Risk: Physical injury to the wrists, arms, neck, berm or back.
Method:
Talking to staff members and analysing their concerns and observing their crinkle roles.
Level of Risk: High
2.Slips, trips and fall(a)s.
Associated Risk: Physical injury to the body, viable broken bones, bruises or head injurys.
Method:
Identified from old records of past incidents and near misses.
Level of Risk: Very High
3. work on live electrical equipment.




Associated Risk: Possible electricution and/or damage to stock.

Method:
Through observation in the store and self-experience.
Level of Risk: Medium
The Level Of Risk was quantified thorugh talking to staff, dominating old records and occurance of these incident and using the risk assessment table, date Appendix 1.
Risk control measures for:
Lifting heavy items whilst using incorrect lifting techniques and repetitive lifting.
Handling Guidelines provided for all staff
Training for all staff
Regular Exercise
Task rotation
