Discrimination is all well-nigh us. Whether we choose to believe it or not, everybody has an opinion or a first impression of you. all eon you meet somebody, they inevitably will judge you. Unfortunately, familiarity can be very critical if you dont look, act or dress a certain way. pack can be quick to turn the opposite bring up on somebody who may look strange or different compared to them. Discrimination can be found over and anywhere in the world, I found this out of late first hand during one of my first few weeks at college.
I remember it was around the second week of teach; everything was still very new to me. My waymate and I had position class together at eight o time in the morning. We still werent sure when the appropriate time to wake up was so we would get up around six thirty and just take our time. We would leave our room around seven forty-five and walk each other to the campus center.
We woke up one morning and continued with our daily routine, exclusively as we were walking to class we saw a wound gentle cosmos in a wheelchair. The man was a paraplegic, African American dwarf and he was in an electric wheelchair. The man was going in the opposite direction as we were.



As we
saw him cross the intersection and continue to approach the sidewalk, deuce of the wheels on the wheelchair stayed on the road while the other cardinal wheels went up the curb onto the sidewalk. As a result, the wheelchair was put slay balance and the gentleman in it was tossed violently into the road.
I looked at my roommate as if to ask if what I had seen really happened. She looked plump for at me and I could see in her eyes that she had witnessed the alike thing as I had. We ran over to the man and asked if he was hurt or needed help. He assured us that he was fine and then asked if we could put his wheelchair upright. After we laid his wheelchair the man swiftly pulled himself back into his seat and continued on his way.
