Rosa place was born Rosa Louise McCauley in Tuskegee, Alabama on February 4,1913. She was an African American seamstress and well-behaved rights activist whom the U.S. social intercourse dubbed the ? Mother of the modern day civil rights movement?.
Parks is Famous for refusal on December 1st,1955 to obey sight device driver James Blake?s demand to give up her situation to a white passenger. She wouldn?t give up her cigaret because she had a long day of work and she was really tired. Her full point and trial for this act of civil disobedience triggered the Montgomery bus boycott, one of the largest and most successful mass movements against racial requisition in history, and launched by Martin Luther King Jr., one of the organizers of the boycott, to the forefront of the civil rights movement.
Parks led a difficult life growing up, she suffered poor health and chronic tonsillitis. Her parents separated when she was a minuscular girl, she and her mother moved to Pine, Alabama with her grandparents. She was home schooled by her mother. She withal attended the Alabama state teachers College for negroes, but was forced to give notice out to care for her ill grandmother and later mother.
